The Art of CSCS Digital Imaging

I've been experimenting in how to express the process of my art form. Almost without exception people who see a larger canvas for the first time are amazed that they really are a photograph. Yet from a distance, it is still your first impression. The 14 month journey it took to develope this unique technique was well worth the labour of love. Last fall I challanged the head of the photography department at a community collage in Ontario to figure out what my process was, they're still working on it.

Here is the essence of my journey. In most cases when you blow up a photo it becomes less appealing as it blurs and the image softens. Clarity was my challange. A CSCS Image becomes more facinating as the image increases in size. Defined edges, enhanced contrast and then some facinating details emerge that almost always captures your imagination.

I think this poster will help to show that process better. I'm very prowd of my work and I hope you'll enjoy them.
